Suga Bomb..a followers bootcamp

Suga Bomb (SB) is the new brand for my swing based follower’s bootcamp. I was one of the first instructors in the UK to introduce 'Followers only' based workshops back in 2003, under the brand the 'Sugamammas'. I invited renowned International female swing dance teachers to the UK to provide focused learning to all who wanted it. Today, by using SavoyHop's curriculum I want all followers to feel fabulous and confident about their dancing. I want followers to find their own ‘Unique Sweetness’ and develop a dancing look that sets them above the rest.
Followers need to be encouraged to express their own personal individuality as a dancer. The curriculum promotes self-analysis, self-expression and experimentation without creative boundaries. We gain inspiration from other female dancers (old and new) but understand the value in being different. All organisers are advised to start with the 'Core program', a two day workshop and introduction aimed at providing followers with a strong understanding of the required skills on which to develop their individual dance style and be an amazing follower.

Suga Bomb Core Curriculum
- Two day 'Core' workshop is recommended. Day one is about developing the skills to become a 'Dynamic Follower’. Day 2 focuses on becoming visually stylish and feeling great whilst dancing, aptly named 'Ab fab'.
- These 'Core' workshops are aimed at followers from Improver level upwards.
- Trisha is able to work with mixed abilities in one workshop and can tailor the material to 'challenge and extend' and or take it 'slower and drill' for those that have specific needs.
- Once you have completed the 'Core' workshop, then there is a plethora of other subjects pitched from Improver to Advanced level dancers.
- Therefore as a host, you can make up a Suga Bomb program suited to the needs and ability of your community. Whether you believe the focus should be on improving dance technique, becoming more stylish and adding dance flare, learning choreography and more feminine variations.
- You can opt for one/two day workshops, or plan a monthly course.

Suga Bomb Discovery **NEW**
- If you’re want to explore and learn more or have followers who want a higher level of conceptual challenge then ‘Suga Bomb Discovery’ is a program of electives that may work for you
- Organisers get to choose from subjects to make up their own bespoke program to meet the demands of your community.
